The Daniel K. Poling Chapter 992 cordially invites all
veterans and family members to our 7th Annual cookout on
Patriot's Day, Saturday September 11th from 10am to 4pm.
We will have plenty of food, really good music and games for
the children.
We will also have a tours of an Alpaca farm and a Fish
farming operation. Come out and join the fun; bring a dish to
share.

The chapter will be exploring community needs in order
to establish four local community charities we can adopt and
work with. Some of our membership have time and want to
volunteer to help.
The chapter is developing a welcome home wagon for
returning military units from Iraqi and Afghanistan and it
should be fully operational soon.
We are also starting a program of emergency assistance
to individual veterans in need. Call Carl Floyd at (603)
774-2615 if you want to volunteer or need assistance or
help.
The chapter will be working with the town of Deering, the NH
state government, the National Battle Monument Service
and the Dept of Defense, to reestablish the New
Hampshire memorial to the Immortal Four Chaplains
located on the top of Wolf Hill in Deering NH. If you are

Food Bank, they need help with food sorting it also is a
chance to see there entire operation and they do a lot. If

helping hand we extend to others, Chapter 992 has begun a
